Meetups with D.I.F.D
Throughout our community development process, we've been meeting with our Do It For Daron and Royal Ottawa Hospital liaison Lauren. With her, we've been able to start put our fundraising ideas into motion and learn through hands on experience.
Bottle Drive
Our first and biggest fundraiser that we've planned is a bottle drive. We wanted a project that would allow us to interact directly with members of our communities, and to encourage people to make a difference without the pressure of financial donations.
Cutest Pet Competition
Our cutest pet photo competition fundraiser focuses on celebrating those around us who help support our mental health. The pandemic saw a large increase in the amount of pets adopted, with many of them acting as Emotional Support Animals (ESA's).
